Toyota’s Thailand domestic car sales grew to 74,150 units in September, up 15.6%

The deputy general manager of Toyota Motor Thailand Company Limited informed that the number of vehicles sold in September totaled 74,150 units, an increase of 15.6%.

Broken down by segment, 23,074 passenger cars (-8.6%), 51,076 commercial vehicles (+31.4%) including 41,396 1-ton pickup trucks (+31.4%) were sold. The third quarter closed with sales of 633,687 units, an increase of 19.1%.

As for the car market trends in October, the car market is entering the peak season in the last quarter of the year. The company ended the third quarter with 633,687 units, up 19.1% from the sales record in the same period last year, and is likely to continue to recover from the Covid 19 situation.

The fourth quarter is said to be the peak season for all kinds of products as well as for advertising campaigns and marketing activities in the field of all car brands. Before the completion of the annual sales figures at MOTOR EXPO at the end of November and beginning of December, it shows that total sales in the domestic car market in September amounted to 74,150 units, representing a growth of 15.6%.
