The Malaysian Statistics Office (DOSM) reported that Malaysia’s industrial production increased by 13.6% year-on-year in August. The unemployment rate remained constant.
According to the DOSM, the unemployment rate in Malaysia remained unchanged at 3.7% in August 2022 compared to July. The unemployment rate continued to decline, falling by 1.4% compared to July, while the jobless rate remained stable, rising by 0.2% compared to July.
