Germany records GDP growth of 1.9% in 2022

The Federal Statistical Office (FSO) reported that German gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 1.9% in 2022, while economists had expected 1.8%.

German inflation weakened for the second month in a row in December as energy prices fell.
