Manufacturing activity in the Eurozone shrinks for the 6th consecutive month

S&P Global announced that the final Eurozone manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to 47.8 in December, the highest level in three months from 47.1 in November.

The PMI index is below 50, indicating that the eurozone manufacturing activity continues to contract, shrinking for the sixth consecutive month.
