U.S. consumer spending lower than expected in November

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, consumer spending in the U.S. rose 0.1% in November, below the 0.2% expected by analysts.

The Commerce Department also revised consumer spending for October to an increase of 0.9%, after previously reporting an increase of 0.8%.
