China reports strong luxury car sales despite COVID disruption

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), sales of high-end passenger cars manufactured in China have grown rapidly over the past 11 months. Even in the face of the disruption caused by COVID-19.

The above vehicles were sold more than 3.51 million times in China, up 12.7% year-on-year. In the month of November, sales increased 18.2% year-on-year to 380,000 units.

The strong sales of high-end passenger cars is an indicator that demand is maintaining strong resilience amid the COVID-19 disruptions.
