According to the IIF, foreign investors flocked to emerging markets in November

According to the Institute of International Finance (IIF), foreign investors poured into emerging markets in November, reaching the highest level since June 2021.

Foreign investment flowing into emerging markets increased by $37.4 billion in November. The bond market saw $14.4 billion flow, the highest level since early 2022.

The Chinese stock market received $8.5 billion in foreign investment, the highest level since the beginning of this year.

Broken down by region, foreign investment totaled $25.6 billion in Asia, $8.2 billion in Latin America and $3.2 billion in emerging Europe. There was a $0.4 billion flow to Africa and the Middle East.
