China’s VR industry attracted strong investment in 2021

The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that the Chinese virtual reality (VR) industry has more than doubled its investment and funding in 2021.

According to the report, there are currently more than 10,000 VR-related companies in China pushing the use of technology in a variety of industrial, cultural, educational and other scenarios.

China released plans in early November to promote the development of the VR industry, aiming to increase the market size to more than 350 billion yuan by 2026.

At the same time, the plan aims to nurture the top 100 entrepreneurs with innovative talent and industry influence, and increase sales of VR devices to more than 25 million units.
