The Federal Statistical Office reported that German industrial production increased in September despite the slowdown in energy-intensive industries and bottlenecks in the transportation sector.
According to the report, industrial production increased by 0.6% in September.
On the contrary, industrial production in the energy sector fell by 0.9% in September.
For August, the Federal Statistical Office revised industrial production to a decline of 1.2% from 0.8% previously.
