Hong Kong’s retail sales rise 4.1% in July after two straight months of declines

The Hong Kong government reported that retail sales in Hong Kong rose 4.1% year-on-year in July, following two straight months of declines and a 1.3% drop in June.

According to the report, retail sales in Hong Kong rose to HK$283 billion ($3.61 billion) in July.

In terms of volume, retail sales rose 1.0% year-on-year in July, following two consecutive months of declines that included a 4.2% drop in June.
