U.S. trade deficit fell to $79.6 billion in June

The U.S. Department of Commerce reported that the U.S. trade deficit in June was $79.61 billion.

Imports fell 0.3% to $340 billion, while exports rose 1.7% to $260 billion.

At the beginning of 2022, the U.S. had the largest trade deficit with its top five trading partners: China, Mexico, Vietnam, Canada and Japan.
