German industrial orders down in June

According to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), orders for industrial goods manufactured in Germany fell less sharply than expected in a month-on-month comparison in June.

According to the report, industrial orders fell 0.4% in June, with the decline already seasonally adjusted.

New orders for industrial goods were revised downward by 0.2% in May, after preliminary estimates had assumed an increase of 0.1%.
