Indonesia’s central bank ready to adjust interest rates if inflation becomes a problem

Perry Warjiyo, governor of Indonesia’s central bank, said Sunday that the central bank will not hesitate to raise interest rates if inflation starts to become a problem.

A well-planned and well-communicated plan to successfully implement adjustments to monetary policy will help, the governor said on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Bali.
