German Exports Up 4.4% in April – Trade with Russia Continues to Decline

According to the Federal Statistical Office, German exports rose by 4.4% in April, which was stronger than expected, while imports increased by 3.1%.

In April, Germany recorded a seasonally adjusted trade surplus of 3.5 billion euros ($3.76 billion).
