Asia

On Monday, Thailand publishes the industry index.

On Tuesday, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) reports on Thailand’s economic situation.
This will be followed by South Korea’s April industrial production report and April retail sales.
Japan will release the unemployment rate for April, industrial production for April, retail sales for April, and consumer confidence for May.
Australia will release building permits for April.
China will publish the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) of the manufacturing and service sectors for May from China’s National Bureau of Statistics.

On Wednesday, Australia releases the final manufacturing purchasing managers’ index for May and gross domestic product (GDP) Q1/22, while South Korea reports imports, exports, and trade balance for May, and China releases the Caixin manufacturing purchasing managers’ index for May.

On Thursday, Australia will release imports, exports, and trade balance for the month of April, followed by retail sales for the month of April.

On Friday, the South Korean Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month of May will be published, in Japan, the PMI index for the service sector for the month of May will be published and in Singapore the index of retail sales.

Europe

On Monday, Germany publishes import and export prices for April. The EU publishes its economic confidence index for May and the consumer confidence index for May.

On Tuesday, France releases May inflation and gross domestic product (GDP) Q1/22, and Germany reports May unemployment, followed by EU inflation for May.

On Wednesday, retail sales for April and the purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for the manufacturing sector in May will be published by SAS Global in Germany. Germany, France, the UK, and the EU also publish their unemployment rates for April.

On Friday, the index of industrial production for April will be published in France and the total PMI (May) in Germany.

The U.S.

On Tuesday, the S&P/Case-Shiller House Price Index for March and the Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index for May will be released.

On Wednesday, the U.S. will release May’s final ISM Manufacturing PMI, May ISM Manufacturing Employment, and April Job Openings and Labor Turnover Rate (JOLTS).

On Thursday, the U.S. will release ADP nonfarm employment change for May, nonfarm productivity in Q1 2022, weekly initial jobless claims, factory orders for April, and weekly oil inventories from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). )

On Friday, the May nonfarm payrolls, May unemployment rate average hourly earnings in May, the participation rate in May May services PMI, and May ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI will be reported.
