The Department of Commerce announced that exports in March 2022 increased by 19.5% to $28,859.6 million, the highest in 30 years.
While imports rose 18% to $27,400.6 million, Thailand recorded a trade surplus of $1,459.1 million in March.
Exports increased 14.9% to a total of $73,601.4 million in the first quarter of this year, while imports rose 18.4% to a total of $74,545 million, resulting in a trade deficit of $944 million.
