Bitcoin price continues to move around $40,000, today (April 19) the Bitcoin price increased by 2.96% moving at $40,919.65.
Bitcoin’s positive movement in the morning came after the Dow Jones closed Monday (April 18), 39 points in the red. Meanwhile, the World Bank lowered its growth forecast for global economic growth this year to 3.2% from 4.1%.
- The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 39.54 points, or 0.11%, to close at 34,411.69 points.
- The S&P 500 fell 0.90 points, or 0.02%, to close at 4,391.69 points.
- The NASDAQ fell 18.72 points, or 0.14%, to close at 13,332.36 points.
Movements in the Crypto Space
On April 13, 2022, Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) informed through the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that Gulf Innova Company Co., Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of GULF, has partnered with Binance to jointly develop a digital asset exchange in Thailand and other related businesses.
To participate in the Binance ecosystem and expand its digital infrastructure-related businesses, Gulf International Investment Limited has also invested in the BNB digital currency, the native cryptocurrency of the Binance ecosystem (BNB Chain Ecosystem), which is used as a utility token to run applications on the BNB Chain.
However, after the joint venture company is established, that company will apply for the digital asset exchange license and other licenses from the relevant authorities.
The company believes that the multi-level collaboration with Binance, the global leader in blockchain infrastructure technology, will meet its objectives. It aims to be a leader in the digital infrastructure space and sees the opportunity to expand its business into other related areas in the future.
