On Monday, Thai export figures for the month of February will be released, followed by the People’s Bank of China’s LPR lending rates.

On Tuesday, Japan will publish its leading economic index for March.

On Wednesday, the producer price index (PPI) for February will be published in South Korea.

On Thursday, the Bank of Japan (BOJ) will publish the minutes of its monetary policy meeting.

On Friday, Japan will publish its Tokyo Consumer Price Index excluding food and energy for March.

Europe

On Monday, Germany will announce its Producer Price Index (PPI) for February.

On Tuesday, the EU will present the current account for January.

On Wednesday, the UK will present its CPI and PPI figures for the month of February. This will be followed by the German purchasing managers’ index for the manufacturing sector for March and the publication of the annual budget by the UK.

On Thursday, France will publish its Markit manufacturing PMI for March and its services PMI for March. On the same day, Germany will publish its Markit manufacturing PMI for March and its services PMI for March. The EU reports its services PMI for March, Markit manufacturing PMI and composite PMI for March. After that, the UK reports its manufacturing PMI for March, services PMI for March, and composite PMI for March.

On Friday, there will be data from the UK on retail sales for the month of February and from Germany on business expectations and the Ifo business climate for the month of March.

The U.S.

On Monday, the Chicago Federal Reserve will publish its index of national economic activity for February.


On Tuesday, the U.S. will release the manufacturing index for March from the Richmond Federal Reserve.


On Wednesday, the U.S. will report February new home sales and weekly crude oil inventories from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).


On Thursday, weekly initial jobless claims, new orders for durable goods for February, the March 4 current account from Markit, and the purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for the services and manufacturing sector for March will be released.

On Friday, the Michigan Consumer Sentiment and Expectations Index for March will be released. In addition, pending home sales for the month of February will be released.
