Bitcoin price continues to be volatile. Today (March 11) Bitcoin fell 6.25% to $39,043.39.

Bitcoin moved into negative territory after the Dow fell 112 points on Thursday as talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba failed to yield progress.
Markets also came under pressure after the U.S. reported the highest inflation in 40 years and higher-than-expected jobless claims last week.
The U.S. Department of Labor released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for February, which increased 7.9% year-over-year. This is the highest level since January 1982.
The core consumer price index (excluding food and energy) rose 6.4% year-over-year in February. This is the highest level since August 1982.
- The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 112.18 points to close at 33,174.07.
- The S&P 500 fell 0.4% to 4,259.52 points.
- The NASDAQ fell 1% to close at 13,129.96 points.
