A survey released by Visa shows that small and medium-sized businesses plan to accept cryptocurrencies. In the survey, which was conducted in nine countries, 82% of the companies surveyed were in favor of accepting digital options.
A total of 2,250 companies were surveyed in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Singapore, and Hong Kong, among other countries. In the survey, 73% said that the adoption of digital options will be a key to further business growth, while 24% said they have plans to accept digital currencies such as Bitcoin.
Only 4% of respondents favored less use.
In the wake of accepting cryptocurrencies, Elon Musk tweeted this week that Tesla Inc. merchandise is now accepting Dogecoin as payment. This makes Tesla once again one of the pioneers moving into this terrain.
