German Exports Rise by 1.7% in November

The German Federal Statistical Office reported that exports in the month of November increased by 1.7% MoM, raising exports to 5.7% above pre-pandemic levels.

Imports rose 3.3%, following a 5.2% increase in October. Meanwhile, Germany’s trade surplus fell to 10.9 billion euros ($12.3 billion) in November from 12.4 billion euros ($142 billion) in October.

German industrial production fell by 0.2% after rising by 2.4% in October.
