Bitcoin Drops to $41,000 Amid Kazakhstan Unrest

Bitcoin is down 3.7% to $40,938, its lowest level since Sept. 29, and has lost more than 40% since reaching a record $69,000 in November.

Bitcoin network fell sharply this week, after the Kazakhstan Internet shutdown. The unrest in the country has hit the crypto mining industry hard. According to this, the hashrate is said to have fallen by more than 13%.

Bitcoin is still under pressure after the release of the Federal Reserve meeting minutes on Wednesday. Shortly after the publication, bitcoin fell sharply and has not yet found a bottom since then.
