Bitcoin continues to lose ground Wednesday morning, falling further below the $50,000 mark. At 7:30 a.m. today (Dec. 29), the bitcoin price was down 5.17% and hovering at $47,648.75.
Bitcoin moved into negative territory this morning after US stocks closed in a directionless market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose in a short frame, the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ went down.
In general, all the big coins in the crypto market are losing this morning. Ethereum loses 5.2% at $3,818.38, Binance Coin loses 4.11% to $537.13, Solana loses a full 8.52% to $178.60 and Cardano loses 6.21% to $1.408.
The crypto market shows its volatile side again shortly before the turn of the year, which in turn traders can use to find entry opportunities.
