The crypto market remains volatile, with the Bitcoin price leading the way. The BTC price has fallen 0.87% to stand at $48,749.19 at 6:30 this morning (December 23).
Bitcoin moved in negative territory this morning after the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 261 points on Wednesday (Dec. 22) following an increase in the U.S. consumer confidence index to 115.8.
The crypto space around the world continues to move at a rapid pace. Recently, there have been reports that Xinhua, the news agency that is the mouthpiece of the Chinese government, is planning to launch an NFT collection using blockchain technology.
China’s entry into the NFT market has surprised the world, as China has cracked down on the crypto industry throughout the year. This includes a ban on mining Bitcoins and Ethereum.
