On December 16, LINE Corporation, a Japanese messaging app provider and a subsidiary of Z Holdings announced on its official website that it is preparing to launch a new NFT platform called LINE NEXT. The company has established two offices, a first in South Korea and a second in the United States.
LINE NEXT also plans to explore partnership opportunities with more than 20 other organizations in the future.
With this change, LINE NEXT CEO said, “Acknowledge that NFT is a world-changing innovation and the LINE organization has a long experience as a creator, and is becoming one of the most popular technology companies in Asia. The organization now aims to work with partners around the world to make the NFT business successful as well.”
In addition, the CEO also spoke about the important issue that NFT will transform various industries, as NFT is a technological infrastructure that will reshape the digital industry and create new experiences for users in all areas, such as gaming, social media, and commerce.
Leveraging more than 10 years of experience to apply and expand more services in messenger and blockchain, the company has recently started testing the operation of the NFT market platform in beta version on LINE Bitmax Wallet in Japan.
