Bitcoin was able to recover somewhat after the last low was also supported by the statement of ex-Twitter boss Jack Dorsey that Bitcoin will replace the U.S. dollar.
This morning (Dec. 22) Bitcoin rose 4.51% to move at $49,158.86 at 6:40 am.
Bitcoin moved up this morning after the global stock market moved into positive territory. The Dow Jones industrial average closed up 560 points on Tuesday (Dec. 21), with investors buying up stocks that had previously fallen. With the market down three days in a row, when President Joe Biden did not impose a lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, markets were also encouraged by the fact that the FDA may approve Merck & Co’s Molnupiravir and Pfizer Inc’s Paxlovid for emergency treatment of COVID-19 patients as early as today (Dec. 22).
