Although Bitcoin has currently fallen below $50,000, this correction is modest compared to three years ago when Bitcoin bottomed out at $3,100.
Back in March 2020, when the pandemic was just starting to run its circles, the BTC price corrected near the December 2018 low, during which time Bitcoin slid to a low of $3,100, a level not seen in a long time, and likely no one will see that price one more time.
Compared to bitcoin’s high of $69,000 reached this year, bitcoin investors have made a profit of more than 2,125% since the low on that day.
Crypto investors are flocking to the “Happy Bearday” celebration, including well-known crypto analyst MichaĆ«l van de Poppe. He has previously said that the bitcoin price is about to consolidate towards the end of the year before returning to an uptrend in early 2022
The current bitcoin price is $46,682.27 (as of 9:20 AM ET, December 20).
