Bitcoin ETF starts trading
ProShares Bitcoin ETF starts official trading on the New York Stock Exchange yesterday.
Bitcoin Strategy ETF, or BITO, the acronym for the fund’s securities, rose 3% at the open before gaining 0.6% to $40.26. About an hour after launch, it traded around $500 million.
Die US-Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft ProShares ist das erste Unternehmen, das den Bitcoin-ETF auf den Markt brachte.
Investors can trade BITO like a normal share on the market.
The ProShares Bitcoin ETF trades on the NYSE Arca and is a bitcoin futures fund that does not trade bitcoins in the crypto market.
