Rising oil prices – increasing oil and gas rig count.

Oil prices are recovering as the U.S. oil and gas rig count rises for the second week in a row.

The oil and gas rig count rose nine this week to 500 from 491 last week, the highest level since April 2020.

Oil and gas rigs in the United States are also active on an annual basis. They rose to 256 rigs this week or 105% from 244 rigs in the same month last year.

The 10 U.S. oil rigs active this week rose to 397, 172 more than the same month last year.

This was announced by Baker Hughes, a U.S. oil drilling contractor.
